DESIGN APPROACH
The studio considers architecture and atmosphere in equal measure. Space, proportion, material and light create the foundation; a thoughtful mix of furniture, textiles, art and objects brings personality and life.
Guided by both rigor and intuition, each project responds to its surroundings and to the individuality of the people who live there. Melissa’s role is to interpret those elements, bring them into focus and often push them somewhere the client may not have imagined.
The result is a home with an identity entirely its own, considered and refined, yet personal and full of character.

A home should reflect the individuality of the people who live there. Understanding our clients, their lifestyles and what inspires them allows us to create interiors that feel personal and distinctly their own. Sometimes a single object can say more than a thousand words and inspire the direction of an entire project.

We are drawn to contrast and to the unexpected relationships between things. Modern with classic, polished with worn, handmade with refined, quiet with expressive. We believe the art of juxtaposition lies in knowing what belongs together and bringing these elements into harmony with intention and a discerning eye.
CHARACTER
Character comes from depth. Textiles, objects, patina, craftsmanship, humor and unexpected details all contribute to the way a room feels. We value pieces with history and individuality, introducing elements that bring warmth, and a sense of authenticity to even the most refined interiors.
BALANCE
We believe beauty and function are inseparable. Thoughtful attention to proportion, detail, practicality and the way a space is used creates the foundation for every project. Color, pattern, and texture bring richness, but each needs room to breathe. Our approach balances expression with restraint, creating interiors that work beautifully while still feeling natural and lived in.
